Gavin’s Story
Gavin is our miracle! He is a bright, affectionate and loving 5 year old. Yes, he is in the spectrum, but that is not all he’s about. He loves watching movies and singing songs. He likes to play with cars and have tickle fights with daddy. He loves animals and learning about space. Being autistic is just an afterthought.
Gavin was diagnosed with a pervasive developmental disorder in June of 2008. His evaluation team believes his issues place him in the spectrum. He is currently attending Giddens Elementary in the Structured Learning Class. He is doing very well! He loves his classmates and his new teacher, Ms. Kasey!
